Affiliation: Clinical Director of the Hospital de Olhos Santa Luzia (Maceió-AL, Brazil); Staff of cataract surgery department at Hospital da Gamboa (Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Brazil); Research of the Rio de Janeiro Corneal Tomography and Biomechanics Study Group (Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Brazil); Research of the multicenter study group BRAIN (Brazilian Study Group of Artificial Intelligence and Corneal Analysis).
Areas of Interest: Refractive Surgery, Corneal biomechanics and Cataract Surgery.
Leadership Positions: Clinician-scientist and surgeon; Member of the Youth Commission of the Brazilian Society of Cataract and Intraocular Implants and Brazilian Society of Refractive Surgery (SBCII / SBCR - BRASCRS); Director of Information Technology of the Brazilian Society of Ophthalmic Administration (SBAO); Collaborator in national and international books of ophthalmology with 13 participations as author, co-author, and chapters translations; Five publications as author or co-author in national and international ophthalmology journals; Several participations in national and international conferences through of papers, posters and videos.
Honors: The recipient of 10 prizes and awards as author or co-author, and his work has significantly impacted our understanding of the corneal biomechanics and intra-ocular pressure.
