About the Presenter:
Dr. Aref is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and attending physician in the Glaucoma and Cataract Consultation Service. He joined the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary after completing a subspecialty clinical fellowship in glaucoma at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He obtained his ophthalmology residency training at the Penn State Hershey Eye Center and his medical education at The Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Aref is board-certified by The American Board of Ophthalmology as well as The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
