About the Presenter:
Scott Walter is a 2nd year ophthalmology resident at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL. He completed his undergraduate and master's degrees in Anthropological Sciences at Stanford University, before matriculating to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His research interests in ocular surface disease encompass epidemiologic studies (viz. the work presented here) as well as mechanistic investigations focussed on tear film endocannabinoids and genotype-phenotype correlations in meibomian gland dysfunction.
