About the Presenter:
Sara W. Faulks entered the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012 after graduating summa cum laude with honors from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society in the spring of 2011.
Sara is originally from Columbia, South Carolina and currently enjoys living and studying in Charleston, South Carolina. She is a member of the Medical Student Ophthalmology Society at MUSC and serves as Storm Sight co-coordinator, a position in which she organizes free ophthalmic medical clinics for the underserved in Charleston.
Sara looks forward to graduating from MUSC in 2016 and plans to pursue a career in the field of ophthalmology.
